Busy making life happen…
Two months with no notice? Not even a post saying what I’ve been doing, what I have been wearing and who I’ve been doing it with! I made a promise at the beginning of this semester that I’d focus on life and making special moments happen with close friends. I’ve managed to do that… but as a consequence left you guys on the back burner…So here’s a snippet of what’s happened…Surprise parties, photo shoots, vacation, and graduation. Now I’m well rested and ready to share all these stories. “I have made this letter longer, because I have not had the time to make it shorter.” Sorry again, I was busy making life happen.

Fashion Week Finale
I can not tell you how excited I am to share with you “where the wild things are”. Our fashion show finale for fashion week. All the garments were handmade by students. Who said you needed to go to fashion design school to be a talented designer? All of my friends are also getting a degree in Fashion Merchandising. “Momma always told me to be well rounded?” (quote taken from some book I read a while ago and it always stuck with me) I don’t know if you remember the fashion show that we had last year, but this one was 10x better. The show was packed, people where standing and the night was definitely filled with laughter and fashion.

The girl with the blue suede shoes
This is probably a memory that I will lock away and hide forever, just for keepsakes. For others who may run across a celebrity they may tear up, get tongue tied and get knots in their stomach…well that was me!!! I got to pick the mind of Mrs. Erica Benoit. Someone who has accomplished almost everything I want to accomplish… She’s a successful stylist to many stars like Usher Raymond, Toccara Jones, Jasmine Guy and many others. All doing this while remaining humble and willing to reach out and help others. I can’t wait to share with you my great news!!! In closing enjoy what I wore… just a girl with the blue suede shoes.

Hey my loves…so fashion week is right around the corner and I am so excited…BIG THINGS in store. I know I have not been posting as frequently, (I know, I know…I was on a roll and everything) but while you wait you can check out, my youtube channel. It should keep you company. For those of you who frequently ask, I just filmed an apartment/room tour AND I just got done with a natural hair up do tutorial as well!!! (YAY!!!) Lazy days
Don’t worry, I havent forgotten you my lovelies…INCLUDING those who have asked for tutorials on the hairstyles I have been currently rocking on my last couple of post…Today my hair was being very difficult and it is already ALWAYS unpredictable…so days like this…I’d like to call lazy days. I’m wearing the red corduroys I shared with you in my lastest haul video and I have already seen 15…*yes I counted*… people who have been rocking the corduroys and this INCLUDES GUYS!!! I’m so excited for this comeback, and yes, I’d like to take credit for starting it… but hey I guess we are all innovators in a way….enjoy!
